Welcome to the 15th episode of A Big Digital Hug. A Marketing Podcast for the modern entrepreneur who wants to take their business to that next level, for years, not just months to come. If you’d like a free consultation with us, we’d like to hear from you. You can find the scheduling link here.
On the podcast today, I discuss the various business sizes in correlation to their marketing spend as well as outreach options.
Your marketing budget will vary by the type of business you are in, your audience, your marketing know-how, and as well as your geographic location. Some will go as far as to say that you should put 20% of your revenue back into your marketing but others will swear by 5%. Either way, you do need to spend money to make money. I personally will recommend you spend between 8-12%
One thing I have learned first and second hand, when it comes to marketing, pay for quality. Talk to other companies for recommendations and read reviews.
